OUR MISSION

To provide high quality financial advice to individuals, private businesses and non-profits.

What to Expect in 5 Steps

Archer Bay Capital is a Referral-Only Firm

1) We review your financial needs and work together to create a plan to meet your short- and long-term financial goals. This involves reviewing your current expenses, savings rate and current investments to project future investment income. We will project current income potential if you are already retired.

2) We open an investment account at Fidelity Investments, sometimes several accounts if you have retirement accounts (such as an Individual Retirement Account – IRA) and taxable accounts. Your monthly statements, annual tax reporting, online access, and performance monitoring is all managed by Fidelity. As your financial investment advisor, we only have the ability to make investments in your account. As an informed investor, you control everything else — including the next step.

3) We work with you to create a unique, personalized investment plan. Our financial planning services will specify the investment guidelines that we will use for your portfolio. We will identify what will be bought and sold in your account and cannot be changed without your approval.

4) Ongoing monitoring and regular reviews. We will set up a review schedule based on how frequently you would like to meet to discuss your portfolio and, as your certified financial planner, we will answer any questions you have about the financial markets.

5) A well-designed plan should be as stable as your own personal situation. We strive to keep trading to a minimum to keep expenses as low as possible. We believe in transparency in all things we do: the planning process, the execution of your investment plan, and your portfolio performance — and there are no hidden fees.

Investment and market articles from Archer Bay Capital

We believe an informed investor has the best chance to successfully reach their goals. Archer Bay’s commentaries offer clear and concise overviews on a variety of economic and market events that affect all investors.

No one can accurately predict the returns of the stock or bond market. But we do know how the markets have performed in the past. Start with the Market History Report, which shows the annual return of stocks, bonds, cash and inflation, plus significant historical events, every year back to 1928.

Because inflation eats away at your spending power, targeting returns in excess of inflation is the first goal in investing. Learn about how the bond market tries to stay ahead of inflation in the Bond Market and then read about how the stock market is driven by the earnings growth of corporations in Earnings and the Stock Market.

Terri Z. Campbell, CFA Founder, Managing Principal

After more than twenty-five years managing portfolios for pensions, banks and a large insurance company, I started Archer Bay Capital to offer personalized financial planning and institutional-quality money management to individuals in a cost-effective way.

I earned my MBA from Cornell University, my BA from The Ohio State University, and I am a Chartered Financial Analyst. In the past, I have managed a $4 billion stock fund, created asset allocation strategies for multi-billion dollar portfolios, and hired and fired specialized money managers.

Since 2012, I have been a committee member representing an investor’s perspective on GAAP accounting rules for the Emerging Issues Task Force at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and am a member of the Boston Economic Club. I believe in the importance of community involvement and have served on the Board of the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston for more than 10 years in addition to supporting numerous charities focused on social services, children, and animal welfare. To me, money is a tool to support our goals and not the goal itself. Just as institutions use their financial resources to support their business objectives, Archer Bay Capital helps people reach their personal goals by providing clients with practical, straight-forward financial guidance that helps them achieve financial independence.

MONEY IS PERSONAL

Providing personalized financial planning to meet your unique goals

As your independent investment advisor, we believe in choice and transparency. We are a fiduciary firm which means our clients’ interests always come first, and you choose how you want to work with us.

  • Financial Planning: For a flat fee, we provide personal financial planning for individuals and small businesses that allow us to work together to create your personalized investment plan. This will include specific investment recommendations and guidance on how to self-manage the plan.
  • Full-Service Option: Or, for a quarterly management fee, we will provide full-service investment management services, ongoing monitoring of your portfolio, and will consult with you throughout the year on your financial needs. Fidelity Investments is the bank we use, but we are an independent investment advisor and not owned by Fidelity.
